Releasing pent up anxiety and having relaxation techniques in place for instant onset.

Many people with anxiety disorders find that hobbies help to relieve the pent up energy encountered with their mounting anxieties.

Having an enjoyable hobby can be just the thing to release pent up energies that normally present themselves in panic attacks or breakdowns.

Learning to things with your hands, a good book, or a physical activity that allows the body to release mounting anxiety or stress and the mind to forget, even if for a brief period, are great ways to deal with anxiety that builds stress and compounds over time.

Having relaxing strategies in place to use when anxiety comes on all at once can be the key that unlocks a person’s ability to cope in the moment. If you have an anxiety that presents itself all at once, having stress relief exercises in place prior to the provocation of it, one or a few well practiced, can be just the solution to it.

Counting backwards from ten, taking deep breaths with each number, and adding a mental picture that is relaxing is on great example of a relaxation technique that can enable a person about to have an anxiety attack to calm down enough to get themselves through it.
